Visitors from afar...

...or perhaps just from Utah. John's Mom and youngest brother and sister (Daniel and Anne, respectively) paid us a visit a couple weeks ago. We haven't been out of Utah long, but it was so nice to spend some time with them. Thanks to them we were provided with the opportunity to stay a couple of nights at our beloved Huntington Beach, go out to dinner several times (I never mind taking a break from cooking), drive around our new home in LA, finally use our Silver Pass to get into Disneyland, visit John at work, and Anne and I got to see WICKED!...and yes, it was wicked awesome!

Henry John

It is hard to believe- but Henry has already reached 6 months. This is cliche but it seriously went by so fast. I just want to take a moment to express my love for that little guy. He is such a good little baby. He is happy to roll around on the carpet and he is always full of smiles. He recently began scooting himself all over the room and pulling some pretty funny faces. He has definitely made my transition from 1 child to 2 pretty easy. Enjoy some of the many faces of Henry.

Lake Powell x 2

My family went to Lake Powell again, and John was nice enough to let me go, even though we just got back a month ago. He consented to fend for himself for a week (which basically means being lonely and eating fastfood dinner as the sole meal of the day), so I was grateful. The neat part about this trip is that ALL of my siblings were able to come (I don't know how long it has been since that has happened...) and ALL of the grandchildren were able to go, which meant 10 children ages 5 and under on a houseboat...

It was a little crazy, a lot of fun, and really neat to be with all my siblings for a week. The only family members missing were my John and my sisters' hubbies.
