The happiest job on earth!

When John graduated with his MBA at the end April, he didn't have a job. He had been looking since the fall but nothing had worked out. Fortunately both of us had felt all along that something would work out and we just had to have faith and be patient. I can attest that for the most part we were patient and I am truly proud of John with how well he dealt with the pressure of securing a job. In the end we were truly blessed because Disney offered John an awesome job at their headquarters in Burbank, California, and John couldn't be happier with the opportunity. When I told my sister, Tracy, about John's job offer she said, "Isn't that like the happiest job on earth?" Congrats John! I am so proud of you!

Wendy the blogger?

Well amazingly enough, I too am starting a blog. After months and months of pressure from friends (Ashley this post is dedicated to you) and family (Lindsey...), I too have jumped on the blogging bandwagon. I was feeling quite guilty as I thoroughly enjoyed looking at people's blogs but I wouldn't return the favor by creating a blog of my own. In converations with these bloggers I almost felt like a stalker because I knew so much about their families and what they were doing(but hey, they posted it). I suppose I held off for so long due to my computer illiteracy, my lack of writing skills, and the feeling that I really didn't have anything to say (though that hasn't stopped others =) but hey, my kids are darn cute and I am certainly not embarrassed to share them with you. So check us out!
